The Board of Trustees of the `I'omm of Los
Gatos d,-, ordain as follcvls:
SECT `a la For the purpose of reoulp-tiny
the traffic in the To%n of Los Gatos, the streets of
the Tows of Los Gato-s are hereby divided into two
groups to be knolsr_ as Crou-_p No- l and Group No. 2.
The streets of Group. No. l shall be the fol-
lowing streets and portions thereof= East train Street
from So~at_ Santa Cruz. Avenue to the N-~ property
Croup No. 2 shall comprise and be all the rest

main there until said apparatus or vehicle has passed.
SECTION 31. Yo vehicle eliall be left standing

fire hydrant or fire house containing municipal fire
apparatus for any period of time wlalatever,
SECTION Upon any of the streets described
as Croup No. 1 no vesicle shall be left backed up to the
curb except when such vehicle is actually loading or un-
loading and if horse draz;n then only w1aen_ the horse or
horses are s"ung at right angles to the traffic and facing
in t--.e direction in .rich traffic is Moving on the side
of the street on which the vehicle is standing.
S CTIC 5: No vehicle shall remain backed
up to the curb except lecile being actually loaded or un-
loaded on any of the streets within the Towm of Los Ratose
SECTION o: No vehicle shall be left standing
"with its left side to the curb upon any of the streets
named in Croup No, 1m
SECTION 7: Except in cases of emergency
or "4rien ordered to do so by a Police Officer no vehicle
shall stop in any street except close to the right hand
curb and then not with-Ln twenty feet of the line of inter-
section of any cross street.
SECTION S: No person shall turn any vehicle
or_ any of the streets in Group No. 1 at any place other than
a street intersection or termination.
SECTION 9: No vehicle, (except delivery wagons
used to deliver merchandise by merchants whose places of,
business front on any of said streets in Group No. 1), used
for the transportation of fTelgrit, baggage or merchandise
or peddling shall be allowed to stand on any of the streets
in the group designated as No, 1 except :nhen actually loading
or unloading.
SIcTICN 1C: No person shall run or drive any
horse, bicycle or vehicle over or across any pavement or
side"valk newly laid across or around rlnich there has been
placed a barrier or at or near which there has been placed
si`_n warning persons against riding or driving over such

pavement or sidewalk, or a sign stating that said street
or S1 de,%,alk 4S closed. The provisions of this ordinance
are not to apply to the contractor or his employees actually
engaged in the laying of said pavement or sidewalk.
SECTION 11. No person sha11 ride or drive any
horse, bicycle, trycle, coaster, autocycle or vehicle over,
?cross or along any side-4alk in the Tev-un of Los Gatos
excepting at the places thereon where a regular driveway

SECTION 12: No vd icle used for th e purpose of

liquid substance liable to sift or still out shall be
allowed in any of the streets of the Town of Los Gatos
unless the sane is made tight and so constructed as to
prevent the- sifting, or spilling of any of its contents
along any of the streets over -which it is amassing, and no
person shall operate or drive any such vehicle unless acid

spilling of any of its contents upon the streets as

SECT nN 14m Any person driving, controlling,
leaving or opefatino,• any vehicle in violation of any of

violate any of the provisions of the same is guilty of a
misdemeanor and. upon conviction thereof shall be punished
by a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars, or by im
prisonm°nt in the County Jail for not to exceet th?rty
