The Board of Trustees of the Town of Los Gatos
do ordain as follow+s:
9±,909 CTION 11. Section 2 of an ordin ane nnu pered 1389
enti tied: "An ordinance relatinz -to awnings and signs over or
across sidewalks, streets or alleys in the TO,rm of Los Gatos"
be and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2m No signs of any description will be per--
miitted to hang or project from any building, post or pole
over or across the si iewal s, streets or alleys in said
town, except as follows:
"Electrically lighted signs are permitted -Mhen they
and their auNpcrts are naintair_ed at a height of not less
than ten feet in the clear above the sideaalk, and are
so constructed and aff.-xed to the baildin to which they
are attached that they may he swung back flush against
such building; :,nd all sugh signs must, daring the daytime,
be kept swung back flush against such buildings.
"Electrica.lly lighted stationary vertical signs are
also permitted when both ends of the same are attached to
-the building, and do not project more than four feet over
t'_r1.e inner line of the sidewalk, and w2liere the 1t7iVer and of
which is more than ten feet above the sidewalk."
SECTION 20 This ordinance shall be published once in the
:cos Gatos ail, a newspaper published in tore Town of Los Gatos.
