AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DELIVERY OR DEPOSITING OF DRUGS,
IDICINES, ANTISEPTICS,, DISINFECTANTS AND COSMETCIS, EITHER
FOR INTERNAL OR EgXMITAL USE, UPON THE DOOR STEP OR PF'M1ISES
OF ANOTHER, OR THE DISTRIBUTION OR CIRCULATION OF HAND-
BILLS, ETC/ UPON ANY STREET OR SIDRrALK WITHIN THM TOWN
OF LOS GATOS, CAT IFOAIA.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TIC MIN OF LOS GATOS do ordain
as follows:-
SECTION 1. No person, firm or corporation, by him or themselves
his or their servant or agent, or as the servant or agent of any person,
firm or corporation, shall leave, throb or deposit upon the dootstep or
premises owned or occupied by another, or deliver to any child' der
fourteen years of age any patent or proprietary medicine, or 4ny prepara-
tion, pill., tablet, powder, cosmetic, disinfectant or antiseptie, or any
drug or dele-
terious to health, has a sample, orsinDanor a yl qan* ingredient fors the lpur-
pose of avert,isir_g, or de3iv:er, circulate or distribute any book, pamph-
let, bill, handbill., picture, card, print, parer,, w9t tAgg, mold, device
or emblem, tending o ° purporting to be used as an advertisement, or pub-
siness or place of business,, office,

SEC. 2. ~r) ~ 1m drug, medicine patent or proprietary
medicine, pill, tablet, powder, cosmetic, disin€ectant or antiseptic
used in this Ordinance shall include all remedies for internal or external
use, either it package or bulk, simple, mixed or compounded.
SEC'. 3. Any persons firm or eopporation violating any, of the
provisions of this Ordinance; shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and,
upon c or_viction thereof, shall be fined a sum not exceeding One Hundred
Rollaxrs or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term: not exceeding
sixty (60) days, or by 'moth such fine a-nd inkprisonmert.
SEC. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force fsaom
and after July 1st' A.D.19.12.,
SEC.. 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed
