URGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24.40.050 OF THE TOWN CODE TO
ALLOW THE TOWN TO MODIFY THE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION
ASSOCIATION WHERE NECESSARY FOR PRACTICAL ADMINISTRATION
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos hereby ORDAINS:
Section 24.40.050 of the Town Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"24.40.050 Arbitration.
When a party properly demands arbitration, the dispute shall be
arbitrated under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, as modified
by resolution of the Tam Council."
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the health of the
comet pity, in that without it, the rent mediation ordinance will be unenforceable.
This ordinance was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Town Council on April 5, 1982.
