Ord 1526-AMENDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE TOWN CODE AND ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SUBDIVISIONS TO CONFORM WITH AMENDMENTS TO STATE LAWORDINANCE NO. 1526 ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS OF THE TOWN CODE AND ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO SUBDIVISIONS TO CONFORM WITH AMENDMENTS TO STATE LAW The Town Council of Los Gatos hereby ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 27a -14 of the Town Code is amended to read as follows: "Sec. 27a -14. Appeals. Any interested person adversely affected by a decision of the advisory agency may file an appeal with the Town Clerk concerning such decision. Any such appeal shall be filed with the Clerk within ten days after the action which is the subject of the complaint. Upon the filing of that appeal, the Clerk within 30 days. shall set the matter for hearing / The notice, hearing and decision shall be con- ducted in the manner provided by Government Code Section 66452.5." SECTION 2. Section 27a -13 is amended to read as follows: "Sec. 27a -13. Expiration of tentative map approval. (a) Expiration. The approval or conditional approval of a tentative map shall expire 24 months from the date the map was approved or conditionally approved. (b) Extension. (Unchanged) (c) Time Limit on Extensions. An extension or extensions of tenta- tive map approval or conditional approval shall not exceed an aggregate of two years. (d) Effect of Map Modification on Extension. Modification of a tentative map after approval or conditional approval shall not extend the time limits imposed by this section. (e) Exceptions. The time limits contained in this section are sub- ject to the exceptions specified in Government Code Section 66452.6. Section 5.30.050 of the Zoning Ordinance is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 5.30.050: APPEALS FROM DECISIONS BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION Any interested person may appeal to the Council from any decision of the Conr ssion. The appellant must file a written notice of appeal in duplicate with the Clerk not more than ten days after the decision is rendered. The notice shall state clearly the reasons why the appeal ought to be granted. The Council shall not hear the appeal if the notice is not filed in time. Once a notice of appeal has been filed, it may not be withdrawn without the consent of the Council." SECTION 4. This Ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15 days after this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the Town. This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos on March 1, 1982 , and adopted by the following vote as an ordinance of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town Council on March 15, 1982 AYES: COUNCDIEIBERS Ruth Cannon, Thomas J.
