RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONTRIBUTION
BY LOS GATOS UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, that
WHEREAS, this Council has undertaken proceedings pursuant
to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 for the Improving of
certain streets in said Town, including, among others, High
School Court which is proposed to be improved for Ito entire
length by grading and constructing therein water -bound rock
macadam base pavement with asphaltic wearing surface, the removal
of existing curb, gutters and sidewalks between Main street and
Church Street and their reconstruction where required, sewer house
laterals and the construction of a concrete valley gutter therein
at the intersection of Church Street, and to assess the costs
of all improvements described in Resolution of Intention to Acquire
and construct Certain Improvement in and for the Town of Los
Gatos, adopted September 13, 1948, as amended, upon a district
benefited thereby, which district is particularly delineated upon
a map thereof on file in the office of the Toxin Clerk, to which
reference is hereby made for further particulars.
WHEREAS, this Council has caused to be prepared and there
has been preliminarily approved by it, a report on said project,
consisting of plans and specifications, estimate of costs and
diagram and assessment from which it appears and this Council
finds that properties owned by the Los Gatos Union High School
District will be benefited by said improvements, and should be
assessed in about the following sum, to -wit:

VIRMEAS, the costs thereof may be more equitably paid from
the funds of said School District than by assessing the costs
thereof on neighboring properties abutting on said improvement;
NOW, T FORE: request is hereby made of the Hoard of
Trustees of said School District that it adopt a resolution autho-
rising the 'town to undertake said improvement and assess a portion
of the costs thereof upon the properties of said School District
above described upon the same basis and in the same ratio as other
properties in said assessment district are assessed for the costs
thereof, agreeing to pay the aunount of the final assessment levied
therefor in cash from the funds of said School District.

RESOLUTION NO.
AGREEING TO PAY ASSESSMENT FOR COST OF
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN TOWN OF
LOS GATOS
HIGH SCHOOL COURT
RESOLVED, by the Hoard of Trustees of the Los Gatos 'Union
High School District, County of Santa Clara, California, that
WHEREAS, there has been filed with this Board a Resolution
Requesting Contribution by Los Gatos Union High .school District
requesting that this Board agree to pay its rateable share of
the costs of constructing certain street improvements in and for
said Town accessed in the same manner and upon the same basis as
other properties within said Town for the construction of said
Improvements benefiting the property more particularly described
In said Resolution and owned by this Distrietj
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said District pay to
the Town of Los Gatos the amount of said assessment assessed
against the properties of said District on the same basis and in
the same manner as the costs of said improvements are assessed
on other properties in said Town, which amount is approximately
$1,270.72.
