This is Town <br />Code Amendment Application A-18-001. Project locations is <br />town wide, Applicant is the Town of Los Gatos, Project <br />Manager for this item is Sally Zarnowitz, who is also the <br />Town Planning Manager. Ms. Zarnowitz, would you give us <br />your report, please? <br />SALLY ZARNOWITZ: Thank you, Chair. This item is <br />about amending the Zoning Ordinance to match the Housing <br />Element. <br />The background on this is that the previous <br />Housing Element relied on different strategies than the <br />current one to meet the Regional Housing Needs Allocation, <br />or RHNA, and that four of the five properties that were <br />allocated as Affordable Housing Overlay Zones, or AHOZ <br />sites, were actually removed in that Housing Element <br />because other strategies were identified, and those <br />strategies are attached as an exhibit to your Staff Report.
