RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT TO
PROVIDE A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PARTICIPATION IN A JPA FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE
WHEREAS, the municipal liability insurance market is in turmoil;
WHEREAS, several municipalities wish to explore an alternative to traditional
insurance coverage;
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos wishes to participate in a feasibility study
for participation in a JPA for liability insurance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
CALIFORNIA, that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to negotiate and
execute an agreement to provide a feasibility study for participation in
a JPA for liability insurance;
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Town Council at a regular meeting held
this 21st day of January , 1986, by the following vote:
