1985-022-Supporting AB-216RESOLUTION NO. 1985 -22
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS SUPPORTING AB -216.
WHEREAS, State Assemblyman Alister McAlister has introduced AB -216
to implement California Appellate Court decision Sacramento v.
State of California; and
WHEREAS, the referenced court decision held the State financially
responsible for the costs mandated upon local government for
unemployment compensation; and
WHEREAS, the Town is a member of the Local Public Entity Fund; and
WHEREAS, AB -216 requires the return of any balances from the Local
Public Entity Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council does hereby
support AB -216 (McAlister).
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA,
at a regular meeting held this 19th _ day of February,
1985, by the following vote:
