A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
EMMA RAU
WHEREAS, EMMA RAU has served the Town of Los Gatos as a member of
the Town's Cultural Commission from July 1980 to January
1985; and
WHEREAS, EMMA RAU, during her commission service, chaired the
Shutterbug Photo Contest and cochaired the Music in the
Parks Committee; and
WHEREAS, during her career as an Art Teacher in the Los Gatos
Elementary School District, she founded the Art Docents
of the Town of Los Gatos and the Annual Children's Art
Show; and
WHEREAS, she has unselfishly contributed her time, energies, and
capabilities to the promotion of art and culture in the
Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does
hereby render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commenda-
tion to EMMA RAU for her service to the Town and its citizens.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
CALIFORNIA, at a regular meeting held this 22nd day of
January , 1985, by the following vote:
