A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS BLOSSOM HILL NO. 18
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, on December 14, 1983, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, pursuant to a petition signed by
all the owners of land within the territory to be annexed, approved the
annexation of that hereinafter described area, designated as Blossom Hill No.
18 to the Town of Los Gatos and, by their Resolution No. 83 -64, directed the
Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to initiate proceedings to annex said
territory without notice, hearing, or election, in the manner described in
Section 35221 of the Government Code of the State of California, and made the
following findings:
1. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA Class #15119(a).
2. The territory is "Uninhabited" as defined in Section 35038 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the findings of the Local Agency
Formation Commission in Resolution 83 -29 are correct, and the territory
proposed for annexation is situated in the unincorporated area of the County of
Santa Clara, and is contiguous with the municipal boundaries of the Town of Los
Gatos.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal
corporation of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to
the provisions of Sections 35151, 35221, and 35234 of the Government Code of
the State of California, the annexation to the Town of Los Gatos of that
territory designated as Blossom Hill No. 18, and described in real property
description and map attached hereto, marked Exhibits "A" and "B ", respectively,
is approved, and that the same be annexed to the Town of Los Gatos.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of these annexation proceedings the
territory annexed will be taxed in Town of Los Gatos Tax Rate A, including
taxes for existing bonded indebtedness.
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed,
pursuant to Section 35350 of the Government Code, to prepare under seal a certified
copy of this resolution, giving the date of passage, and immediately transmit same
along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section 54902.5 of the
Government Code to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
Santa Clara County.

Los Gatos held on 3rd day of January 1984 by the following vote:

All that parcel of land situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of California
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly right-cf-way line of
Blossom Hill Road with the easterly line of that certain annexation
entitled "Blossom Hill No. 14". Said point also being the southeasterly
corner of "Blossom Hill No. 14"; thence northerly along the easterly line
of last said annexation North 210 50' West for a distance of 229.18 feet to
the northeasterly corner of last said annexation; thence North 68' 10'
Oast, 70feet, more or less, to a point of intersection with the westerly
Tine of that certain annexation to the Town of Los Gatos entitled "RocMin
Terrace No. 2"; thence along last said line South 21' 50' East, 44.90 feet;
thence North 68c 08' East 63.00 feet; thence South 21' 52' East 14.41 feet;
thence North 680 27' East 126.71 feet along the southerly lines of those
certain annexations to the Town of Los Gatos entitled "Rockin Terrace No.
2" and "Rochin Terrace No. P to the the Town limit line established by
Blossom Hill Road Annexation No. 3; thence along the westerly line of the
Blossom Hill Road Annexation No. 3 a distance of 242 feet more or less to
the intersection of the southerly right-of-way line of Blossom Hill Road,
said point of intersection also being the southwesterly corner of that
certain annexation entitled "Camino del Cerro No. 3"; thence southwesterly
along said southerly right-of-way line of Blossom Hill Road 21 feet more or
less to a point located 78.27 feet northeasterly of the northeasterly
corner of Lot No. 3, Tract No. 104, filed in Volume 3 of Maps at pages 56
and 57, Santa Clara County Records; thence southerly a distance of 261.45
feet to the northerly line of Camino del Cerro Annexation P; thence
southwesterly along said line 71.77 feet to the easterly line of said Lot
3, Tract No. 104; thence leaving said line and going northwesterly along
the easterly line of Lot 3, 256.89 feet to the southerly right-of-way line
of Blossom Hill Road; thence southwesterly along the projection of said
southerly right-of-way line 354 feet more or less to the intersection of
the Town limit line established by Winterbrook Annexation #1; thence
northeasterly along said line to the point of intersection with the
southerly line of "Blossom Hill No. 10 annexation which is also the most
easterly corner of Winterbrook Annexation P; thence northeasterly along
said southerly line 163 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.37 acres more or less.
