A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN
ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT FOR
SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY
HOUSING DEVELOPERS, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby resolved by the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, that the Mayor is authorized to execute the
attached Addendum to Contract for Services with Community
Housing Developers, Inc. (CHD).
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA, at a regular meeting held this
day of January 1981, by the following
vote:

ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH
COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPERS, INC. (CHD)
This contract is contingent upon the Santa Clara
County Board of Supervisors' approval of CHD's Seventh Year
CDBG budget request of not less than $85,000. A County
funding appropriation of less than $85,000 shall act as a
condition subsequent to this agreement, thereby terminating
CHD's obligation to perform the terms of this contract.

RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF A
PORTION OF THE PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN ACCESS EASEMENT
LYING ENTIRELY IN PARCEL "A" (FORBES MILL).
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to vacate the easement
hereafter described.
2. The easement proposed to be vacated is described in Exhibit "A"
attached to this resolution and made a part of it by this reference.
A plat showing the location of the easement is shown on Exhibit "B"
attached to this resolution, and made a part of it by this reference.
3. A public hearing will be held on February 2, 1981 at the meeting
of the Town Council. The meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California.
If the Town Council finds from the evidence submitted that the easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective use, it may make its order
vacating all or part of the easement.
4. The Town Clerk is authorized and is hereby directed to publish
a copy of this resolution in the Los Gatos Times Observer, a newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in the Town of Los
Gatos, within 15 days after the date of its adoption.
5. The Mayor of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized, and is hereby
directed to execute a Notice of Public Hearing on Vacation of Easement,
and the Director of Public Works is authorized and is hereby directed
to post conspicuously three copies of such Notice, not more than 300
feet apart along the line of the easement.

That portion of Easement No. 5 entitled, "EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC ACCESS FROM MAIN STREET TO FORBES MILL ",
lying in Parcel "A ", as said easement and parcel
are shown on that certain map entitled, "TRACT 6700"
filed November 16, 1979 in Book 454 of Maps at
Pages 1 through 19, Santa Clara County Records.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 6, 1981, the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
adopted Resolution No. 1981 -5 entitled, "RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO
ORDER VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN ACCESS EASEMENT LYING
ENTIRELY IN PARCEL "A" (FORBES MILL) ". A copy of Said Resolution No. 1981 -5,
and a map entitled, "EASEMENT TO BE VACATED, EXHIBIT "B ", dated December 19,
1980, showing the particulars as to the proposed vacation, are on file in
the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos, Civic Center,
110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California, and are available for inspection
during regular business hours.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said Resolution established February 2,
1981 and the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the Civic
Center, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, California, as the date, time, and
place of a public hearing by the Town Council during which all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear and be
heard.
