A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GAOS
SUPPORTING SB 201
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1979, the Governor of the State of
California signed Senate Bill 201; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 201 directs the State of California,
Department of Water Resources to acquire and distribute household water
conservation devices and instructional and curriculum materials for water
conservation education for grades K through 8; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water Resources plans to commence its
program in the County of Santa Clara;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos supports the distribution of household water conservation devices and
water conservation education material for grades K through 8 in the County
of Santa Clara and will cooperate with the State in its program
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, held on the 5th day of January, 1981, by the following
vote:
